Callie is my beautiful basset hound - dachshund mix that I got about a year ago now. My dog apparently thinks she can run the whole entire house;in other words she is the princess of the family.She is soooooo cute and we think she is about 7 years old or so. She's still as active as ever though. Callie has a lot of energy! One time we were giving her a bath, and as soon as we were done came tearing through the whole house jumping on furniture and rolling her wet self on the carpet. GROSS! But at the same time VERY entertaining! We take Callie on trips with us and wow, she loves it! We take her to waterfalls and stuff like that. Here's a picture of Callie on one of our adventures:
Callie sure does love those waterfalls! She just wishes that she had brought more snacks for the hike!
ReplyDeleteWhy does Callie (like most dogs) race through the house after a bath? Is she relieved at not drowning? Is she looking for something dirty so she can roll in it and have another bath? Is she trying to work up an appetite for her next meal? I mean hippos, after a bath, don't race around, nor do elephants. What's with dogs?
