The Ravine

On Monday, sometime around lunch we set out to go hike the ravine in Palatca F.L. It was about a 45 minute drive and it is a state park. I definitely recomme-
nd it!!😄 You start off down a trail and the you get to a fork in the road. And it doesn't matter which direction or path you choose to go because you will always end up in the same place-the parking lot! We took lots of pictures too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Callie's Gotcha Day!

Yesterday we celebrated Callie's "Gotcha Day" which is the day we got her. We don't know her real birthday so we celebrate the day we adopted her. We have officially had her two years now. Here's a picture of our girl eating a burrito.😊

We picked up Taco Bell for an early dinner and ordered an extra burrito just for her. She was very happy to have received a beautiful gift;food! Last year we made her a vegan cheese burger (our family is vegan) and she was very elated about that too! We don't know Callie's real age but we think that she's around seven years old so happy, happy gotcha day Callie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😃😃

Yarn Art

   For school I did an art project called "Yarn Art."

My teacher picked out some simple designs

and we pin pushed them into a piece of foam.

Then we put a dot of glue wherever the little

tiny whole was and then we would lay yarn

over it to create a design that is beautiful and

creative. My teacher came up with that herself.

I did a turtle and so did my friend. Its very

easy to do and fun all at the same time!

Wow, that curry smells good

Man,that sauteed onion smell is really getting into my head.

Oh my gosh I can barely type! trwiflt87TF8T. See what I mean.

Just barely holding it together. I'm just kidding! Though it 

does smell really good. Dad is cooking dinner tonight and

he's a great chef!

Ooh looks so good. I can't get an actual pic of the

curry itself cause the pot is way too hot. I just

made a little rhyme there. Realization, dawning.

Anyways, I'm gonna go eat dinner before I drool all

London!

Over last years winter brake,we had a really fun trip. We got to see Trafalgar square and the lions there. We had to fly over seas for 8 hours and rode on a Double Decker Bus. It was amazing. We even went on the Harry Potter tour where they actually shot the films. Here's some pictures:

Tooth!

So last night I lost my 13th tooth. Right after I lost my tooth, I literally lost it. We started looking for it and I don't think we found it. But when I went to bed I
woke up with a dollar under my pillow. It was really cool. But we don't have the tooth fairy in my family;it's a tooth basset. So I have a very firm reason to believe that Callie is the tooth basset! Look at this darling sweety-kins right here. She's so innocent. I know it's actually my dad behind all of it. But it's kinda a fun little pretend game that we do together. Just a heads up. This blog is not all gonna be about Callie. You will get to see pictures from fun things  I did in my life. Hope you enjoy it!

Callie: Beach Dog

Callie loves the car ride to the beach but kinda dreads

going to the actual water. The picture up top is of her

at St. Augustine beach who recently received a lot of

damage because of hurricane Matthew. St. Augustine 

beach is  (in case you have never been) nothing 

but rough shells and grasses. But when Callie even gets

close to the water she'll flee in terror. Personally I 

think she's afraid of the water but with baths it's a

different thing. I mean don't get me wrong. It is kinda 

scary how the waves crash onto the shore all foamy

and loudly. A little on the creepy side like zombies 

crawling up to shore. Anyway we have taken Callie

to the beach a number of times. Callie loves the picnic

blanket though!

Callie and Me

Callie is my beautiful basset hound - dachshund mix that I got about a year ago now. My dog apparently thinks she can run the whole entire house;in other words she is the princess of the family.She is soooooo cute and we think she is about 7 years old or so. She's still as active as ever though. Callie has a lot of energy! One time we were giving her a bath, and as soon as we were done came tearing through the whole house jumping on furniture and rolling her wet self on the carpet. GROSS! But at the same time VERY entertaining! We take Callie on trips with us and wow, she loves it! We take her to waterfalls and stuff like that. Here's a picture of Callie on one of our adventures:
